YELLOWBOOK
The Yellowbook choose my photograph of the Floyd County Courthouse in Athens, Ga to be on the Front Cover this year. This is the second cover of the Yellowbook for me.
Rome, GA is rich is history and historic buildings. This beautiful courthouse was constructed in 1892-93 and has been renovated several times in the last 100 years, most recently in 1989-90. These last renovations to the exterior and interior returned it to its original beauty.
The current use of this building is Government Offices. This photo was taken on the bridge crossing the Oostanaula River.
Rome's famous Clock Tower built in 1871, stands in the background.
